Earth Care

Projects that include regenerative farming, rewilding, eco village communities, cleaning up our rivers and oceans are vital to creating a world that we want to see for our children and grandchildren.

Regenerative and Community Farming

  • The UK imports 40% of its food which creates carbon emissions and takes jobs out of the UK.

  • We will support small-scale regenerative and community farms, especially those that are in areas known as 'food deserts' and use permaculture principles as these sequesters (drawdown)  carbon into the soil.

These projects are doing great work to create an environment that works for everyone, produce food and add huge social value, yet go unrecognised.

There are many opportunities to grow more food in the UK and also teach people how to cook, reducing reliance on Fast and UPF's (Ultra Processed Foods).

The Children's Kitchen in Bristol collaborates with local groups which focus on encouraging children to explore, cook, grow and eat fresh food.

Low impact funerals

Talking about death is one of this society's taboos. No wonder the conversation around the toxicity of embalming on our soil and atmosphere, the carbon footprint of flowers grown in Africa and flown in, or the MDF coffins are not known about by everyone. There are green ways to care for our dead and there are a few pioneering funeral directors that are doing this.  We will work with existing green funeral care experts to support new start-ups and help raise awareness of the subject
